This listing is for an absolutely stunning early (pre-trademark) Vera Neumann scarf. The various tints of pink contrast beautifully with expressive black contours. Love the effortlessness of the brushwork rose blossoms.
The label states: Scarves by Vera, pat. pending, pure silk, hand rolled. Based on the design as well as the other markers, this scarf was made in the early 1950s. I would describe the condition of the scarf as very good for the age of this piece. There is very slight discoloration on the fold lines , one pin prick and a few slightly puckered areas. The scarf is quite large measuring approximately 31 x 30".
