These 2 tortoise shell platters are handmade from glass and have a deep amber color to them. Combined in the amber glass are dark spots that make up the tortoise shell look. They have a slight raised outer rim on them. You can tell by looking that they are similar in look but totally different in pattern. These large platters can be used as serving platters or can just be displayed as art glass (as what we used them for)...in excellent condition. Unmarked, we acquired these about 20 years ago...told they are Italian glass. Measure 15" across.
