Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Cabochon Cut Opal Cluster Ring Size 7.5 Solid 6.3 grams

This unique vintage ring has a cluster of round and oval opal gemstones. The opals are all cabochon cut. There are 5 ovals and 2 rounds. The random shape and size of these stones leads me to believe it is a handmade piece. The opals range in color as well. They are all securely set in crown bezels with multiple prongs surrounding the stones. There are also a few yellow gold beads soldered throughout the cluster. This ring measures 3/4" across the center and 11/16" from side to side. The center opal sits 3/8" off of your finger. The setting has lots of gold, 6.3 grams and is very well made. The band has a split shank design at the top and tapers to a 3.5mm shank. Plenty of room to size up or down (locally) currently a finger size 7.5. The setting is solid yellow gold and is stamped 14K on the inside of the ring. I have cleaned it thoroughly and polished it on the buffing wheel. Looks like a one of a kind piece!
