Antique or Vintage Cast Iron Fruit Basket doorstop Hubley #456, Harvest Flowers & Fruit. 7" tall with a 4" base. Estimated production during the 1930 - 1940s. This was an era where paint was hand applied, not sprayed. Still has original paint, some messy edges, and runs. There is some paint loss, pictured. The 456 foundry number is on the lower left corner on the back, pictured. Weight is about 2 pounds. This particular door stop is in good condition for being about 100 years old. Start a collection or just keep that door open. Decorative suggestion: Place a collection on the wall side of some of your indoor stairs. I will provide sticker felt for the base that would be applied by the buyer, as needed.
