This Gerold Porzellan Bavaria figurine features a charming putti cherub that appears to be riding a shooting star and landing on a gold ball. Trimmed in gold at the base, this piece is so pretty. The piece is made of fine porcelain. This can be a great addition to any decorative porcelain collectors' shelves. My grandmother had so many of these and I just can't keep them all.
She or he is about 6.5 in tall. Other than that I don't know much else other than I was unable to find one like it on the internet, so I am assuming it is rare! Also, based on when my grandparents immigrated, I would say this was from the early 1930's as my grandmother said my great-grandmother gave it to her.
