The Larson Electronics EPL-PM-1X400MH-100 400 Watt Portable Hazardous Location Light from Larson Electronics is Class 1 Division 2 rated for use within areas where flammable gases and vapors stand the potential to exist. This unit incorporates a 400 watt metal halide lamp capable of illuminating an area 25,000 square feet in size and is approved for use in wet area and marine environments.
The EPL-PM-1X400MH-100 pedestal mounted hazardous area light provides operators in hazardous locations with a versatile lighting solution for operations where easily managed large scale illumination of the workspace is required. One 400 watt metal halide lamp provides light coverage for 25,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D approval assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions.
This hazardous area light package is designed to provide operators in hazardous locations with an easily deployed and highly stable hazardous location approved lighting platform. Included with this unit is a 400 watt metal halide lamp and 100 feet of abrasive and oil resistant 16/3 SOOW cord terminating in a Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof plug. The metal halide lamp is mounted to a metal pedestal platform with adjustable T handles that provides vertical adjustability. A single carrying handle is included to provide easy carrying and movement of the unit from one location to another.
