| The Larson Electronics EPV-PN-BP-2G-SS Portable Explosion Proof Pneumatic Vacuum is suitable for use in locations where flammable substances are present or may stand to exist. This spark-free unit provides 100 - 170 CFM of vacuum flow (depends on inlet pressure). The explosion proof Stage 2 Intermediate HEPA vacuum is equipped with a 2-gallon stainless steel tank and a backpack-style frame that caters to portable applications. The EPV-PN-BP-2G-SS is a pneumatic Stage 2 Intermediate HEPA vacuum designed for flammable work sites and wet locations. This portable unit features a 2-gallon recovery tank and 80 psi of inlet pressure (with 1 1/2" ID Hose). Vacuum flow rates range between 100 and 170 CFM, based on inlet pressure. For adequate inlet flow, a rate of 70 CFM is required. During use, the explosion proof vacuum offers a maximum of 250" water lift vacuum pressure, which is adjusted to 160" of water lift when a relief valve is in place (prevents tank collapse). Noise levels may reach 75 dBA @ 90 psi inlet pressure. The EPV-PN-BP-2G-SS is constructed of stainless steel. This explosion proof unit comes with the tank, wand and Stage 2 Intermediate HEPA filters. Mounting: The explosion proof HEPA vacuum comes with a portable backpack frame, which can be used to carry the 2-gallon tank for maximum portability during use or transportation around the work site. A harness is used to secure the frame onto the back of operators. Equipped with an extended top for extra protection, the durable frame ensures the tank remains upright at all times, while keeping the unit's accessories readily accessible. This solution is ideal for areas where a cart is unsuitable, such as flooded rooms, uneven surfaces, soft ground, confined spaces, hard-to-reach locations and more. |
