A vintage Philippino hand-carved wooden figure of a rearing horse believed to date between 1950 and 1970
The horse originates from a family who was based deep in the Philippines & was acquired to pass on
The horse is mounted on a shaped oval base and stands on its back legs with its body resting on a rootwork tree trunk-shaped support
The figure is exceptionally well carved but is unfortunately not signed
Equestrian stallion
An excellent addition for any horse lover or lover of beautifully carved wood pieces
It is in very good vintage condition - only issue found is a small chip on the ear that can be easily sanded or repaired and very hard to see (pictured in last picture)
