This incredibly rare gauze mask is from 1918. Johnson & Johnson created the "Epidemic Mask" out of gauze, around the start of the Spanish Flu epidemic. You will probably never come across one of these ever again.
I am selling it along with a Johnson & Johnson Esmarch Illustrated Bandage. The box that is photographed is not the original box, it appears that it belonged to something else but this is how I found it, there is also a rubber Davol tube that was in the box. Selling all together as one lot.
The mask is in good condition considering it is over 100 years old, it is slightly discolored, no major damages or flaws. The bandage has some stains on it, see photos. Selling as is.
