Unknown artist painted these two pin and ink drawings of the beautiful village of Triolo in the province of Canzaro in the Calabria Region of Southern Italy. I have included a photo image of one of the Triolo village hill sides that appears to be the inspiration of one of the drawings. The paintings are in matching silver-plated frames with glass front and black mats. The date on the paintings are 1988. Triolo was the birthplace of the Renaissance painter Cardisco.
