Scotch Sealant is a 45 mil thick, premium grade, electrical moisture sealant pad that is used to seal electrical connections up to 600V. Made of durable vinyl and PVC, this tape withstands a wide temperature range of 32 to 100F (0 to 38C). The sealant ensures conformability with an aggressive mastic adhesive. Scotch Sealant is an abrasion resistant sealant roll with an all weather grade polyvinyl chloride backing that resists moisture, alkalis, acid copper corrosion and varying weather conditions. The sealant is used in both indoor and outdoor applications and is compatible with thermoplastic rubber wire insulation. RoHS Compliant. Need to apply an insulating barrier or moistureseal to an odd shape? 3M Mastics are made of a self-fusing, rubber-based insulating compound. Mastics are available with a vinyl (PVC) backing, a rubber backing, or no backing at all, and enable you to pad, seal and insulate connections up to 600 volts.
