NWO Macho Man Randy Savage Ringside Collectibles Elite Flashback
MEMORABLE MOMENT:
In 1996, a group of "Outsiders" invaded WCW, determined to wreak havoc on the company. Known as the New World Order (nWo), Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan declared war on the most loyal WCW stars, one of which was "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Savage entered into a heated rivalry with the rebellious faction for 7 months until SuperBrawl VII, in which Hogan faced "Rowdy" Roddy Piper for the WCW Championship.
During the Match, Savage entered the arena and watched intently from ringside. Suddenly, in a shocking turn of events, "Macho Man" slipped Hogan a foreign object that he used to knock Piper out and retain the title. Savage then joined Hogan in the ring to celebrate and began hitting repeated Flying Elbow Drops on Piper, signaling the beginning of a new era in his career. "Macho Man" had joined forces with Hogan once more, this time in the New World Order.
