The description has a slight neck to the base of the lamp which I’ve tried to show in the photographs so look for if there’s also a notch on the base where the cord goes, but that was in the manufacturing of it I believe, but there is a slight neck in the base you may want to rewire it although I’ve been using it the way it is depending on, your comfort level. Guaranteed it’s authentic. I’ve had it in my collection for the last 40 years and it was in another family member collection 20 years prior. About 10” from top of vase to bottom. 13” the whole length with lamp fixture.
