You’re purchasing a brand new, factory sealed copy of Disney’s Lady and the Tramp 50th Anniversary Edition released on May 16, 2006.
This particular 2006 slip cover release was exclusive to Disney’s “Disney Movie Club” (DMC)
Disney Movie Club was a mail-order only subscription based premium club that you (your parents) could subscribe to. Through this service, members had the option to order certain limited edition VHS tapes available solely through the DMC.
Keep in mind VHS tapes were phased out almost completely in 2006 (with some exceptions such as Cars)
Disney ran their DMC from the early 2000’s through 2007. Due to VHS becoming obsolete to a then very established DVD market coupled with the fact that these versions of the tapes were only available through the DMC, there were not all too many of them produced/sold.
It’s worth noting that these were never sold in any retail stores or rental stores either.
