Take, for instance, this awesome, huge 40 x 28 inch Vintage MCM Clipper Ship Painting. It’s so real looking! From the beautiful colored sky, to the shadowing in the Clipper’s sails, to the details in the choppy ocean waves, this painting doesn’t disappoint. I have seen a number of these ship paintings, while looking for one to offer to my customers. I chose this one for its realism, its extra large size, and for the “feeling” it gives me when I look at it.
The artist, R. (Rick) Boren, lived to be almost 100. Born in Mississippi, he is known for his idyllic land and sea scapes.
