Thin kerf is designed to cut very hard porcelain tile without chipping expensive material. Heat relief slots prevent heat build-up, which keeps blade from warping, which provides for cool running for straight, precise cuts. As a bonus, this blade is also very good for cutting granite as well as ceramic tile.
