Very pretty painted paper mache Santa Claus Christmas decor. Fairly substantial size art figurine at 15” tall, 7” wide and 5.5” depth. It’s truly beautiful in person! Santa is holding a sack of presents over his shoulder and has a bell that works in the other hand. Vintage holiday decoration, lots of detail, expressive face, brass tone belt, button and bell. Some of the white detail on him (beard, white trim on Santa suit) is I believe to be made of straw or some type of natural fiber prior to applying the top coat. Really nice. No major flaws, no cracks, chips. A few spots where darker paint is smudged on red from making. Base measures 4.5” x 3.5”
