Narex 150 mm (6 Inch) Half Round Cabinetmaker Wood Coarse Cut Rasp 872521

This 150 mm (6”) half round coarse cut rasp is made by a highly respected cutting tool tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and is of exceptional quality. The blade is made from tool steel and then hardened to RC 45. The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 16 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4 inch long, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has a solid brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 16 mm (5/8") wide by 5 mm (3/16") thick and 150 mm (6") long. Overall length is 295 mm (12"). This is a well-made rasp for a very reasonable price.
