Laguna Beach Triptych acrylic painting using gypsum on foam panels. How is it made? I apply several thin coats of gypsum on the panels to give it a hard surface. Panels are durable but care must be taken not to drop or receive a high impact or else damage may occur. I then paint then hand paint panels in acrylic paint add more texture when needed. This painting has a unique textured effect.
