Pair of Grade 8 hardened yellow zinc plated External Torx 2.5L engine (4 cylinder) starter bolts. Replaces Mopar J4006964 and 6035607. Grade 8 for high strength, yellow zinc plating gives excellent corrosion resistance and the E-torx head is upgraded from E12 to E14 to greatly reduce the chance of stripping the which plagued the OEM bolts. You won't find better. This is a specialized bolt and a standard bolt cannot be used in its place. The knurled section on the shaft increases the diameter of the bolt in that section for a tight fit and no vibration from the starter while at the same time minimizing the contact area so it will not seize in place. The E-Torx head is necessary because a hex socket will not fit in the tight space where the starter mounts. Fits: CJ7 and Scrambler 84-86, Wrangler YJ 1987-1995, Wrangler TJ 1997-2002, Cherokee XJ 1984-2000, Comanche MJ 1986-1992 and Dakota 1997-1999
