One thing I also want to include is how important a company's vision and mission are — not just as statements, but as the foundation that allows you to lead with a balance of IQ and EQ. The reason you exist is your vision; the way you do it is your mission. When we talk about messaging, it's not an either/or between EQ and IQ — it's both.
