This ferret box figurine was suggested by Sarah Manningsmith of Arts West Unique Gifts; she is a mentioned on the base. The ferret is also the mascot for the UK independent club Harmony Up North (aka the HUNnies). One of the HUNnies told Peter she only buys the Treasure Jests that incorporate his tin can motif, so a can is included. Two exotic caterpillars in Peter’s garden were identified as an Elephant Hawk Moth and a Lime Hawk Moth: the initials EHM and LHM on either side of the caterpillar stand for them. On the lid are the terms for a male and female ferret: Jill and Hob.
