This tray is amazing!!! This tray is large, 18 3/4" x 12 3/4. It has an incredible reverse painted birds in many colors; every color in the rainbow! The branch that they are sitting on has mother of pearl inlaid into the design. The background is black. As you can see the lower portion of the tray does have lines. Not sure if it's the design or wear (see pictures) .
Absolutely Stunning! Love this tray! Perfect for spring decor!
As you can see in the pictures, the reverse painting is in excellent condition: no flaking, just the lines on the lower portion. Looking at the glass, I see a few water marks(?) on glass, nothing that takes away from the birds. The silver toned metal is in good condition with wear consistent of age. Backing is metal. The tray is very solid with no rattling.
