The Basque country combines a beautiful coastline with nearby mountains and excellent inexpensive public transport networks in France and SpainThe walks in this guide are in the coastal strip between San Sebastian and Bayonne and on the nearby summits inland. It is a great area to walk in all year round.Walkers can easily use public transport to spend a day in the hills or along the coast.
