Vintage Hazel Atlas Green Uranium Vaseline Glass Creamer / Sugar bowl with lid. This is
"Florentine No. 1" or "Poppy" pattern, a type of Depression-era glassware.
• Uranium glass contains a small amount of uranium oxide, which causes it to fluoresce a bright green color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or a "blacklight".
• The radioactivity of uranium glass is minimal and generally considered safe for display in a home.
• The Florentine pattern was produced by the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company in the 1930s.
• The pattern is also known as "Poppy"
• Great Used Condition • there are some tiny scratches (pictured) but over all very amazing condition for age. (1930s) .. The marks are not noticeable unless you’re really looking hard for them.. Comes as pictured.
