Watch does not work as is, even though the hand-winding mechanism works. It is also missing the hands on the face. The back panel is warped which keeps it from snapping closed. Please see detailed photos.
With that said, it is a beautiful antique piece that can be upcycled into another piece of jewelry or used for parts. Or even possibly repaired if you’re skilled.
This is a late 19th century pocket watch made from sterling silver. Model number (I think?) is 16631 on inside panel. It has a white enamel face with Roman numerals. Engraving on inside back panel says, “THUN 1899 Remontoir Cylindre Bonne Qualité” (Cylinder Escapement Good Quality).
