This is a vintage collectible snow globe made by Mercuries in 1994.
It features a snow globe that has santa with his sleigh, reindeer and elves.
The base is made of metal and has a spinning scene inside that you can watch going around.
When you wind up the turnkey on the bottom, it plays "santa claus is coming to town" while the scene spins around. The scene depicts sants's workshop. I have tested it several times and it sounds great and spins around the whole time music is playing. This snow globe measures 9 3/4" tall by 5 1/2" across bottom. It is a sturdy weight of 6 lbs 11 ounces. There is white flecks of "snow" and flakes of "snow" . The flakes look a more cloudy color, not white.
Such a beautifully made and detailed snow globe. The music and spinning toy shop really set this snow globe off!!
