Booths established in 1891 at Tunstall & from 1912 was also active at Soho & Swan Potteries in Tunstall. Booths family business in pottery first established by Thomas Booth during 1850s, but the business was only registered as a limited company in 1891. In 1944 Booths acquired Colclough China Ltd & merged with them in 1948 to become Booths & Colclough Ltd. In 1953 the Lawley Group who owned Ridgway & Adderley Ltd acquired control of Booths & Colclough & the name was changed in 1955 to Ridgway Potteries Ltd which in 1964 became part of Doulton Group.

Floradora pattern was designed & released by Booths Porcelain in 1912 & discontinued during 1930s. pattern is a stylized one popular with collectors as it displays soft blue, orange & pink flowers with green leaves on a geometric trellis motif. Popularity of Floradora pattern led to Royal Doulton re-releasing it during 1980s.
