Amazing large 1940s retro style brooch featuring purple and clear rhinestones. I love the flamboyant scrolled design of the leaves and the rich vermeil gold over sterling finish. The central flower has two layers of petals with clear pave stones
and the buds on each side are composed of teardrop shape rhinestones in open settings for extra sparkle. Marked "Sterling" on back of stem.
-- Measures a whopping 4 1/2" high and 3 1/4" wide, and weighs 31 grams on my scale.
-- Condition is beautiful overall with a few small areas of finish wear/loss with silver showing through and some minor expected surface scratches/scuffs.
Just gorgeous, a real show stopper!
