Vintage Embroidered Lily Pad Floral Hand Stitched Quilt. Lavender and White with 6 blocks of hand embroidered Lily pads with Yellow flowers. Solid White backing. Such a beautiful and unique pattern! Intricate hand stitching and diamond quilted pattern. Lighter, summer weight. Age unknown-purchased secondhand in the 1970’s by my mother and it was already quite old at that time. It may be nearing antique age (100 + years old).
Overall, good useable condition with multiple areas of flaws. It has multiple tears/rips and some pinholes, multiple areas of staining and yellowing on the front and back, the edges are tattered, and some of the embroidery shows wear. Would be easy to repair, or great as a wall display or for repurposing. Please see all pictures and feel free to ask questions.
