Vintage homemade black cotton dress with lace for plus size 2X 18 - 20
To me, this is a mourning dress for a sad, hot summer in the early 1930s
Below knee length shift, pull on with no closure
Princess seams, black fabric with faint lines--to look like silk?
Lace cap sleeves (lined)
V-neck with black lace insert (lined)
3 black flat bows, slightly discolored
Puffy front pockets
Kick pleat panel at back hem
Sheer beige nylon lining under lace on sleeves, v-neck
Good condition: FLAWS: Very faint discoloration of lining, some shredding on lining seams; homemade and not a professional sewing job; bow color ranges from flat black to purplish black
Measurements are approximate:
19" shoulder to shoulder / 3" sleeve length
