Material: Bronze
Age: 1920's

A lot of line tools were stamped or marked. An employee would have a certain number of brass numbered tags. They would check out their tools with a tag. If the tool was not returned the employee would be docked or their check held. This is a very rare example for Lincoln Motor Co. in or around when Henry Ford took over in 1922. I have only see a few in my 20 years of picking.
Great piece of Auto History.
Note: Lincoln Motor Co. originally started as a Company that made aviation engines. They did not make their first vehicle until 1920 so this could have been used for early aircraft engines.
