Original signed mezzotint by Bert Menco (Dutch/American, 1946).
Titled Moving the Queen of the Night in pencil at the center of the lower margin and hand-numbered 16/25. Signed by the artist at lower right. Beautiful, surreal portrait with star-filled background and intricate detail typical of Mencos symbolic figurative work.
Printed on full-size intaglio paper with a visible plate impression. Paper shows light rippling/waviness along the lower margin, common with older intaglio prints, but image area is clean and well-preserved. Strong blacks and excellent detail. Currently framed without a mat (frame included as a free bonus; buyer may wish to re-mat for archival display).
