​Ichirō Inazumi (稲積一郎) was a distinguished kokeshi artisan from the Naruko region in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Born in 1918, he was the eldest son of Kamegoro Inazumi, another renowned kokeshi craftsman. Ichirō began his apprenticeship under his father, mastering the traditional techniques of kokeshi doll making.​ His kokeshi dolls are celebrated for their adherence to the classic Naruko style, characterized by:​ Serene Facial Expressions: Delicately painted features that convey a sense of calm and simplicity.​ Bold Floral Motifs: Often featuring vibrant chrysanthemum patterns, symbolizing longevity and rejuvenation.​ Distinctive Body Shapes: Showcasing the traditional Naruko form with a slightly flared base and narrow waist.​ Ichirō's dedication to preserving and evolving the Naruko kokeshi tradition earned him recognition among collectors and enthusiasts.
