A plate from the Denby Pottery Egyptian collection. This is plate 1 and is titled, The Kings Fisherman. The set was issued as a limited edition in the 1970s following the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the British Museum in 1972. This plate has the edition information to the back with the issue number 3891. The front features a design impressed into the surface of the plate and decorated to the high standard characteristic of Denby's output. The design features the kings fisherman holding a fish he has caught impaled on a spear. The plate, which measures 10.5" is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Any questions please ask
