Adorable and rare LEONARD PARIS A-line flared maxi skirt probably from the 1970s. The high-waisted full length skirt is made from luxurious soft velvet and features an extremely vibrant pink, grey and brown/gold paisley and floral print against a black background. It shows a wide waistband and border at hem and is signed throughout the print “LEONARD“. The skirt is unlined and closes with a hidden side seam zipper and two hooks and bars at the waistband. Made in France Leonard was a textile business that expanded into garments in 1958, initially printing on English weaves and introducing a line of printed silk jersey in 1968. Leonard Fashion is known for its complex, colourful mod prints utilized by both during the late 1960s and into the 1970s. In very good vintage condition. No marks, snags or holes.
