Arabia Storybirds range, Olga shape. White high-fired industrial earthenware, black glaze, cast. Jug with black glaze, from the Storybirds range, designed by Kati-Tuominen-Niittylä in 1993, made in the Arabia factory in Finland in 1995. Black glaze, ovoid body with rounded front and partly concave back; short beak-shaped rim, ring handle. Height: 23.5cm Width Including handle: 16cm The Storybirds range was awarded a Distinction at the Finlands Designs 93 competition. Never used, only as a decorative piece. Bottom label partially missing. Thanks for looking.
