Vintage Plastic Butterfly Brooch, Good Detail, Diamanté Vintage Butterfly Brooch

Lovely vintage plastic butterfly brooch which I believe dates from the 1970s. I think it is made from a type of nylon plastic, like Buch & Deichmann used in the 1980s. Cleverly designed and moulded to give depth. It is textured to represent the surface and veins of a butterfly wing. It looks very similar to the beautiful horn insect brooches that were popular in the 1930s/40s. In very good vintage condition. Although it looks like one of the legs is shorter, I don't think it is. I think it's done to give it a feeling of depth/3D, but please don't buy it if you are not happy with it! It measures approximately 4.5cm x 5cm.
