An attractive vintage Lladro porcelain Matte-finished figurine of a Girl Holding a Piglet, No. 1011, by the famous Spanish ceramic producer. The Handmade Lladro ornament was designed by Fulgencio Garcia in the 1970s. The Spanish name for the statue is “NIña Con Cerdito”.
The girl is beautifully observed with a sweet, beautiful, expressive face, looking at the little piglet being cradled in her She is wearing a long peasant-style blue, beige skirt, blue top and white apron. One shoe peeps from beneath her skirt. The colours are in muted tones.
The design is long retired and hard to find in this excellent condition.
