## Rare, Excellent Condition! Circa 1945 Platinum TAVAN Fountain Pen, Plunger Filling, PLADIUM POINT <3>, Bakelite, 134mm Long
This is a fountain pen from around 1945, the year Platinum Pen Co., Ltd. was established.
**Condition:** The body is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, and minimal signs of wear. The nib is also in beautiful condition. The plunger filling mechanism works without issue, but it seems to hold less ink than usual (please refer to the photos for your judgment).
**Markings:** The body is engraved with "TAVAN FOUNTAIN PEN MADE IN JAPAN". The nib is engraved with "PLATINUM Earth Mark N☆S PLADIUM POINT <3> PEN".
**Ink System:** Plunger filling (holds less ink than usual).
**Size:** Total length 134mm, body diameter 14mm (at the widest point).
