☀︎Details
・Designed to be easy to hold, with the widest part slightly closer to the nib.

・Finished with a very beautiful gloss by sanding with grits ranging from coarse to 4000.

・Machined while repeatedly checking to ensure a smooth surface without any unevenness.

・Finished with Kinu Oil. This oil is derived mainly from rice, is tasteless and odorless, and gentle on the skin.

・By alternating sanding vertically and horizontally, the sanding marks are made less noticeable.

★Siamese Rosewood (Honshitan)
Scientific Name: Dalbergia cochinchinensis
Other Names: Keranji
The wood is very hard and heavy.
The finish after processing is smooth and glossy.
Originally, only wood from Thailand was considered Honshitan.
Due to logging bans, the origin has shifted to Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

Thread-Shrink Figure (Micro Curly)
Shrink figure has a wavy pattern, and the waves appear to move left and right depending on how the light hits it.
It is said to be formed by the fibers shrinking due to the tree bending from wind and rain or the weight of branches, or by strong and weak tissues alternating within the wood.
Among the shrink figures, those with fine waves are sometimes called thread-shrink figure.
