This is a pair of Levi's 501 corduroy pants made in the USA, manufactured in April 1996.

While the standard 501 is primarily denim, this model is made of the rare corduroy material.
The button back stamp is "524," indicating production at the renowned factory known as the old number 6 factory.
The fabric has a refined texture with fine wales, rather than thick ones, making it useful from now through early spring.
Furthermore, it's a rare "MADE IN USA" and a golden size "W36."
