60s Mod Velvet Dream.
This authentic vintage 1960s dress by Ilene Ricky features a stunning vibrant aqua/teal blue color in a plush, soft velvet (likely cotton velveteen).
The Look: A classic Mod shift silhouette with a high empire waist featuring a cute drawstring tie. It has a scoop neck and a sturdy metal back zipper. The interior facings are a fun contrasting purple!
Condition: Good vintage condition. Sturdy and completely wearable.
Flaws: Visible hand-mending stitches on the interior underarms (see photos). The fabric is a lint magnet (freshly rolled, but some lint is inevitable!).
