3x1 is a premium NYC-based denim brand, very well respected in the world of high-end, handcrafted jeans. They were founded by Scott Morrison around 2011. Scott is the guy behind other famous denim brands like Earnest Sewn and Paper Denim & Cloth.
Here are a few quick facts about 3x1:
• They specialized in small batch, custom-made, and limited-edition jeans.
• They used some of the finest selvedge denim from places like Japan and Italy.
• Their jeans were cut and sewn in New York City, at their SoHo workshop.
• "3x1" refers to the most traditional type of denim weave: a 3-by-1 right-hand twill.
