This is a mohair knit from the 1960s, likely from Russia or Europe. There are three amazing things about this mohair knit: First, the incredibly long pile. I've never seen one this shaggy before. Second, the large size. It's rare to find one that fits this generously. Finally, the color. The gold color is also quite unique. I don't think you'll find many pieces this good from this era.
