This is a rare, heavy-duty vintage CPO shirt from Eastern Wear-Guard, manufactured in Boston, MA. Dating back to the 1970s/80s era of true American workwear, this piece features the iconic red and black Buffalo Plaid pattern and is constructed from a rugged wool-nylon blend fleece.
The Fit (Important): This shirt features a classic 1970s "Drop Shoulder" Workwear Cut.
How it fits: It is designed with extra-wide shoulders (20.5") that "drop" down the arm, creating a boxy, roomy chest perfect for layering over thermals or sweaters if you normally wear a medium or even a large. While the sleeve seam measurement (23") looks short, the actual reach from the neck is a standard Men's Large (33"). I'm 5'6" and 115lbs for reference
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Authentic American-made quality that is becoming increasingly hard to find. The wool blend remains distinct and durable (not felted).
