Vintage gold tone pendant necklace featuring an oval green cabochon set in an ornate sculptural frame with textured and openwork details. The pendant has a dimensional, almost architectural design and hangs from a matching gold tone snake chain.
The green stone is glass. Under black light, the stone does not show strong fluorescence. While green chalcedony was considered, this piece is being listed as glass for accuracy. There is a superficial line across the top of the stone does not feel like a crack it is seen to touch. No chips observed.
The pendant is securely set and the chain closes with a spring ring clasp. A striking vintage look that wears beautifully on the neckline.
