Plastic whistle from the 1960s, Vietnam War era.
Brass whistles, mainly used in the 1940s, are listed separately.
U.S. stamped, likely Army issue.
The body is stamped with "1966," and the original packaging also has a contract number.
Includes an adjustable lanyard.
Deadstock, new, unused condition.
The lanyard is still tied, so I can't confirm, but
a clean cork ball is visible, so the sound should be fine.
There appears to be no significant damage other than age-related deterioration.
