Title: "Birth Celebration at Suma for the Rustic Genji" by Utagawa Kunisada II, c. 1860
A part of a collection of five (5) antique woodblock triptychs ranging from the Late Edo to Taisho Periods (c. 1830 until 1926). Two have been sold the past twelve months and these are the remaining prints (see our other listings). $315 for this particular work, the remaining works are $295 or reduced pricing of $1,400 (~5%) for the entire lot of five prints. Additional preferred pricing available for in-store customers only.
All prints are encased in hand built frames but would need to be deframed and placed in an archival print box with padding. Please allow for extra time to prepare shipping since these are fragile historical items. Close-up, high-res photos available upon request.
Provenance: From the private collection of family based in Yamagata, Japan, thence by descent. Shipping throughout contiguous US or in-person meeting in the NY, NJ, PA area only.
