VTG Brass Hand Held Magnifying Glass Ornate Handle & Crystal Base 10"x 4"appx

This is a vintage Jugendstil brass and crystal glass magnifying glass.


The design is associated with the Art Nouveau movement, specifically the Jugendstil style active in Austria and Germany around the turn of the 20th century.


It features an ornate brass handle with a faceted crystal glass base.


These items are often used for reading small print, examining details, or as decorative desk accessories.

There is a small dent in the brass on the side of the magnifying glass, and there is a small chip in the glass ball at the bottom of the handle. There is no damage to the actual glass that magnifies.
